In Sant Kabir Nagar, there was a big controversy over the root of a tree found during the excavation of the boundary wall of a water tank under the Jal Jeevan Mission. The dispute escalated so much that the bullies attacked the father and son with sticks. Due to which a 65 year old man died and his son was seriously injured.

The family members and villagers immediately took the injured father and son to the emergency of the district hospital. Where the doctors declared the old man dead. As soon as information about the incident was received, police station in-charge Satish Kumar Singh reached the hospital and took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. Additional Superintendent of Police Sushil Kumar Singh reached the spot with the force and inspected the spot.

It is being told that the boundary wall was being excavated for the construction work of a water tank. In which the root of a tree had emerged. Rohit Choudhary of the village started picking it up and taking it away. On which Jaswant Chaudhary tried to stop him. There was an altercation between the two regarding this matter. Which soon turned into a fight. It is alleged that Rohit Chaudhary and his associates together attacked Jaswant and his father Nirmal Chaudhary with sticks. Injured Jaswant alleges that his father Nirmal suffered serious injuries during the attack. Due to which he died in the hospital.

Injured Jaswant has alleged that Rohit Chaudhary, Shriram Chaudhary, Hariram Chaudhary and others carried out the attack as part of a deliberate conspiracy. Rohit Chaudhary has also accused Jaswant Chaudhary and his family members of assault. The police is currently engaged in investigation based on the statements of both the parties.
