Inspector in charge took stock of the incident site
Last night, an unknown person died after being hit by train number 12225 near the palisade between Rauja village railway station and Patranga in Patranga police station area. Point man of Rauja village informed about the accident to Inspector in-charge of Patranga police station Shashikant Yadav. After getting information about the incident, Inspector in-charge and Deputy Superintendent of Police Ashish Nigam also reached the spot and tried to identify the body of the deceased youth by collecting the mutilated body lying on the roof. But identification could not be done. Due to which the police took the body in their possession and sent it to the mortuary after filling the Panchnama.
Help is being taken from surrounding districts to identify the dead body.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Ashish Nigam said that according to the point man, when the train was coming. Then the young man suddenly jumped due to which he died. Inspector in-charge Shashikant Yadav says that to identify the deceased youth, the help of social media is being taken by contacting the village watchmen and also the police stations of the nearby district. If the deceased youth is not identified within 72 hours, the last rites will be performed as per his religion. After showing the dead body, the deceased appeared to be a Hindu. At present he is still being identified.
