The matter is near Madhuban turn under Ghosi police station area. Here on Saturday evening, Sukhu, a resident of Baragaon, was going home from the market with his family. Meanwhile, Shoaib was riding on another bike and was going towards the market for some work. Both of them had just reached near Madhuban turn when suddenly they collided with each other.

The crowd pelted stones and broke the window panes.

After the collision, both of them started arguing while standing in the middle of the road and soon the matter escalated to such an extent that a scuffle broke out. At the time of the incident, before the local people could understand anything, both of them attacked each other with a sharp weapon. Both of them suffered serious injuries in this attack, after which both the injured were taken to the health center by the local people.

As soon as the families of the injured came to know about this incident, their families reached the health centre. Meanwhile, hundreds of angry mob from Rajbhar colony of Baragaon reached there and started pelting stones at the health centre. Soon the situation escalated so much outside the health center that even the police had to arrive.

During stone pelting, health workers informed the police. As soon as the information was received, the CO and the police station chief along with heavy police force reached the spot. After which the angry mob also started pelting stones at the policemen and started vandalizing the police vehicles. Many policemen including CO Dinesh Dutt Mishra and Police Station Head Rajkumar Singh were injured in this stone pelting.

Hundreds of people of Rajbhar Basti located in Baragaon took to the streets. The police dispersed the crowd from there using mild force. After this all the miscreants have blocked the Varanasi-Gorakhpur highway. Given the current circumstances, neither the police nor the administrative officer is able to muster the courage to talk to the angry crowd.

The police jeep was also broken by the miscreants.

Bike rider Soyeb, who was injured in this incident, said that the accident had happened due to high speed of the bike and sudden turning of the bike. He told that after the accident, an argument started and in the meantime another youth riding a bike attacked him with a sharp object. After which I also killed him with that sharp object. After which other people took us to the hospital and we were undergoing treatment here. Meanwhile, 20-30 people reached here and started vandalizing it.
