On October 2, 2024, a plaintiff had given a complaint to the police that his minor daughter was lured away by the accused Karan Kumar Saroj. After receiving the complaint, the local police started immediate action and registered a case against the accused under section 137 (2) and 87 BNS. After this, the police made special efforts for the safe recovery of the kidnapper.
SP had given strict instructions Superintendent of Police Dr. Meenakshi Katyayan had directed the police to take prompt action in crimes related to women. On the orders of SP, Aurai police conducted an operation to arrest the accused and arrested him.
