Total Solution Day and Tehsil Day were organized today in all four tehsils of Gonda district. In this event held in Sadar Tehsil, BJP MLA Prateek Bhushan Singh, Sadar SDM Avnish Tripathi and Tehsildar Devendra Yadav heard the problems of the complainants.

Strict stance on illegal occupations During the public hearing, Sadar MLA Prateek Bhushan Singh strongly reprimanded the officials for illegal occupation of government lands. He gave clear instructions that action should be taken by launching a campaign against the land mafia within a week. “Illegal occupation of government lands will not be tolerated under any circumstances,” he said. The MLA also warned the accountants to fulfill their responsibilities and not make any irregularities in the investigation. He said, “Bribery cases will not be tolerated at all. All officers should work honestly under the zero tolerance policy.”
DM gave concrete instructions for investigation In the Samadhan Diwas organized in Tarabganj tehsil, District Magistrate Neha Sharma and Additional Superintendent of Police (West) Radheshyam Rai heard the problems of the complainants. The DM directed the officers not to lodge a report in any case without on-site investigation. Also, the complainant should be called to the spot and investigation should be done in his presence.
The DM said that all inheritance cases should be resolved on priority. He directed for joint action of the revenue team and police to remove illegal encroachments from public roads and government lands.
Instructions for police reform Additional Superintendent of Police Radheshyam Rai warned the policemen that the problems of the complainants should be resolved at the police station itself, so that they do not have to come again and again on Tehsil Day or Samadhan Diwas. He said, “There should not be any kind of negligence in solving the problem at the police station.”
During the public hearing, the complainants were assured that their problems would be resolved soon. The activism of the administration has raised hopes among the people that strict action will now be taken against cases of illegal occupation and corruption.
