On Saturday, the victim’s family along with dozens of people reached the SSP office and surrounded the SSP office and demanded action against the accused. When the matter came to his notice, the SSP assured action after investigation.

In a village of Jani police station area, a 14-year-old minor girl studying in a madrasa, along with two youths living in the same village, had dragged the girl into a car, raped her one by one and made an obscene video of her. The accused gave the video to one of his associates, after which the accused started blackmailing the girl by showing her the video.

He also raped the girl by threatening to make the video viral. On receiving the information, the victim’s family took her to the police station. It is alleged that the police station did not take action against the accused. Since then, the family members have been making rounds of the authorities regarding the action. Even on Friday, the victim had reached the SSP office but due to Ganga bathing holiday, he could not meet the officer.

Even on Saturday, the victim’s family reached the SSP office and surrounded the SSP office demanding action. The victim’s family said that if action is not taken against the accused, they will complain about the matter to the Chief Minister. When the matter came to his notice, the Public Hearing Officer assured the victim’s family of investigating the matter and taking action.
