On November 6, the mining officer had raided Dhanaikhera area of ​​Ramkot police station after receiving information about illegal mining. During this time, Arjit Shukla, a resident of Imalia Sultanpur police station area, and his associates misbehaved with the female mining officer and threw her mobile.

Case registered, three accused arrested

On November 12, the mining officer had registered a case against the main accused Arjit Shukla and his associate Diwakar and others. On the instructions of SP, the team of Ramkot police station and Crime Branch arrested three drivers and sent them to jail, but the main accused Arjit Shukla is still absconding. The SC-ST Commission also took cognizance of this incident and sought a report from the DM. After this, the Revenue Department team under the leadership of Nayaab Tehsildar Atul Sen reached the spot and investigated.

Violation of rules in mining

Investigation revealed that the accused were doing illegal mining. As per rules, when mining is permitted, it should be done during the day time and it is necessary to put tarpaulin on the mining vehicles, so that the dust does not spread. But in Dhanaikhera, accused Arjit Shukla and his associates were mining, which was against the norm. Apart from this, the depth of mining was also more than the prescribed limit.

Arrest of main accused soon: CO City

CO City Aman Singh said that three accused have been arrested and the search is on to arrest the main accused Arjit Shukla and other accused. Police say that soon all the accused will be caught and sent to jail.
