People told that the accused Amit dodged the police and went to the court wearing a woman’s burqa and went to jail in the old case. SP City Ayush Vikram Singh says that an investigation has been conducted into the role of both the police stations in this regard. The accused will be taken on remand in the case. An investigation report has been sought from the CO regarding whose negligence it was.

CCSU senior student leader Vineet Chaprana had complained to the UP DGP regarding the arrest of Amit Mirinda. He had said that Amit’s gang name D-155 is registered in police records in Meerut. More than 30 cases are registered against him. Henchmen of Amit Mirinda gang create terror in Medical, Nauchandi, Lohiyanagar, Bhawanpur and Civil Line police station areas but the police is not able to catch them. It was also alleged that he runs a honey trap gang in a hotel opposite CCSU. The entire matter was taken cognizance of the complaint of student leader Vineet Chaprana.
