Television actor Shalin Bhanot turned 41 on November 15. Last night, he celebrated the special occasion at a posh Mumbai restaurant with his loved ones. Several glimpses of the actor’s birthday celebrations have been circulating on social media. In one such video, the 41-year-old actor was seen seeking blessings from popular director Anees Bazmee.

In a video shared by a paparazzo page, Shalin walked towards the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 director and bent down to touch his feet, showcasing his heartfelt respect towards Bazmee. As the clip played further, the director blessed the actor and shared a warm hug with him while continuously patting his back. The two parted ways after a brief handshake. Anees Bazmee’s recent release, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, has been doing well at the box office. Starring Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit, the horror comedy has done a business of Rs 337 crore worldwide. The third installment of the Bhool Bhulaiyaa film franchise was released on Diwali, November 1, and it clashed with Rohit Shetty’s multi-starrer cop actioner Singham Again.

In other news, just days ago, Shalin’s ex-wife, Dalljiet Kaur, shared that the actor hasn’t checked up on their son, Jaydon, for over a year. Shalin and Dalljiet got married in 2009 and welcomed their son in 2014. A year later, the two called it quits, and since then, Dalljiet has had custody of their son. In 2023, the actress remarried to Kenya-based businessman Nikhil Patel. A year later, she announced her separation from him as well.

During a recent conversation with Galatta India, Dalljiet mentioned that Shalin did not even send a text to check on his son after the fiasco with Nikhil unfolded. She shared that she has tried to be “amicable” with him for the past nine years, allowing him even to meet their son whenever he wanted to because she thought it was good for Jaydon. Dalljiet said, “The world wants to know. You don’t want to know? But that’s his karma. It was always a pattern that he would reach out. I made it a point for him to meet Nikhil. I asked him that you come to Kenya, stay with us, it will be good for Jaydon. He said yeah, yeah. And then, gayab.”

Speaking of Shalin Bhanot’s work front, the actor was most recently seen in the stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi season 14, where Karan Veer Mehra emerged as the winner.
