Akbarpur Mizohra Sugar Mill is starting sugarcane crushing season from 18th November. For this, complete preparations have been made by the mill administration. There are 48 thousand sugarcane farmers in the district, who have planted sugarcane in 21 thousand hectares. Farmers’ sugarcane should be sold on time. For this, the operation of the sugar mill will start from November 18. At the same time, weighing work started at 37 sugarcane weighing centers built in rural areas from today itself. Whereas weighing will start at the mill gate from November 17.
This time the sugar mill has been given a target of crushing 95 lakh quintals. To meet the target, the mill administration has instructed all the center in-charges to weigh the sugarcane of the farmers on time. Also, vehicles should be kept ready for transportation, so that farmers do not face any inconvenience in selling sugarcane.
Assistant General Manager Sugarcane Arvind Singh said that this time also the dues of the farmers selling sugarcane will be paid on time. For this, an appeal has been made to all the farmers to give the account number given in the sugar mill. Be sure to check it, so that there is no problem of any kind during payment.
