A youth committed suicide by hanging himself in Mara Chandra village of Bahilpurwa police station area of Chitrakoot. This incident is being reported around 11 pm on Saturday night. The deceased has been identified as Shiva (son Ramnaresh).

According to family members, at the time of the incident, the family members were in their second house built on a farm, one kilometer away from the house, while Shiva was alone in the house. Meanwhile, due to unknown reasons, he committed suicide by hanging himself with a rope inside the house.
Villagers informed in the morning
On Sunday morning, when the villagers saw Shiva hanging, they immediately informed his family. After this the family reached the spot and informed the police about the incident.
On receiving the information, Belpurwa police reached the spot and took the body into custody. The body was sent to the district hospital for post-mortem at 12 noon on Sunday.

The family members have expressed ignorance about the reasons behind the incident and the police is busy investigating the matter. At present, the reasons behind Shiva’s suicide are not known. The police have started the investigation process by sending the body for post-mortem.
