The program was started by garlanding the picture of Lord Bajrangbali and lighting camphor incense sticks. On this occasion, Hata MLA Mohan Verma, Chairman Sukrauli Rajneeti Kashyap, Lok Sabha candidate Ajay Pratap Singh, Assembly candidate Virendra Singh Saintwar, Block Chief representative Sandeep Singh Sonu, BJP Backward Front District Vice President Inderjit Singh, Youth leader Sudhir Sahni, former chief Rinku Singh and Many prominent personalities including Kunwar Akash Singh were present. Everyone encouraged the wrestlers by shaking their hands.
A total of 40 pairs of wrestlers wrestled with each other in the dangal. Wrestler Govind Sahni of Chauri-Chaura defeated Mansingh of Jungle Kaudiyan of Gorakhpur, while Abhishek Farenda defeated Bhola Kusumi. Similarly, Mathiya’s Sunny was defeated by Akhilesh Khairabad. Bulla Pahalwan played the role of judge in the dangal, while Rakesh Pandey played the responsibility of management.
At the conclusion of the program, former organizer Vijay Sahni expressed his gratitude to all the wrestlers and guests. During this, Satendra Pandey, Umesh Pandey, Rakesh Pandey, Pintu Singh, Rahul Gupta, Anil Kumar, Gecy Sahni, Sangam Sahni, Lal Bahadur Sahni, Mohan Sahni and Ramayan Yadav were also present in the program.
