Farmers have written a letter to the Sugarcane Development Committee, Bahedi and also to the Sugarcane Commissioner, Lucknow, demanding the setting up of a center at Mirganj Sugar Mill.
In Devaraniya police station area of Bareilly, farmers have been sitting on strike for 20 days demanding their demands in cold weather. In fact, the farmers of village Itaua Sharif Nagar of Tehsil Bahedi say that Bahedi Kesar Sugar Mill is in trouble due to non-payment of back payment of about Rs. 148 crores to the farmers.

He says that this time he wants to give sugarcane to Mirganj Sugar Mill instead of giving sugarcane to Baheri Sugar Mill and he has been protesting by putting up tents at the center for many days demanding setting up of a center for the sugar mill of Mirganj.

The farmers said that it has been 20 days since they have been protesting, during this time no official related to the sugarcane department has come to them nor has any public representative received any news from them. He is also protesting against the government due to non-payment.
Farmers told that we will not give sugarcane to Kesar Sugar Mill Bahedi at any cost, because the mill has not paid our sugarcane for the last year, that is why we are demanding to set up a center of Mirganj Sugar Mill.
Farmers have written a letter to the Sugarcane Development Committee, Bahedi and also to the Sugarcane Commissioner, Lucknow, demanding the setting up of a center at Mirganj Sugar Mill. Through a letter, he has demanded his old payment from Kesar Sugar Mill.
During this, people like Satyendra, Ashok Kumar, Mahesh Singh, Jwala Prasad, Ram Bahadur, Devendra, Surya Prakash, Mahesh Singh, Bablu, Sompal, Anil, Pradeep, Mukesh, Surjit Chaudhary, Pappu, Veerpal, Narendra etc. were present in the protest.
