Revelations made in Mokampur school of Kishni

Dainik Bhaskar team visited the Composite School located in Mokampur of Kishni development block to investigate this matter. During a conversation with the headmaster Rajkishore, it came to light that five teachers were posted in his school, but the reality was something different. When he was asked about the attendance register, he told that two teachers were absent. Furthermore, the headmaster also pointed out that teachers like Vijay Pratap and Balram Srivastava, who are government school teachers, also run their private schools and reach school late.

Increased problems for students

When the team spoke to students studying in the school, the situation appeared even more serious. The students did not even remember the names of their teachers. A student told that there are five teachers in his school, but they never come to school on time. This negligence is also affecting children’s education. What is more worrying is that teachers who are absent from school are not recorded in the absence register and it is left blank.

Teachers’ business in private schools also

According to sources, teachers who are absent in government schools also run private schools and earn huge money. Vijay Pratap, who is a teacher in Ramnagar, runs his private school up to class 8. Same is the situation with Balram Srivastava, who is running two private schools in Kishni and does not devote time to the government school. These domineering teachers have not only shirked their responsibility in government schools, but are also earning their personal income by taking government money.

Apart from being a teacher, Balram Srivastava is also a poet.

Balram Srivastava, a well-known poet of Mainpuri, is famous for his poems apart from his private schools. His name is counted among the best poets of the district, and he often goes to TV channels and remote cities for poetry recitation. Instead of giving education to children in his private schools, he is more busy in his poetry career.

BSA assured action

After investigating this matter, BSA Deepika Gupta said that this matter has come to her notice and she has written a letter to Kishni’s ABSA to investigate. He also made it clear that if these allegations are found true, strict action will be taken against such teachers. However, the question arises whether the department will take strict action against these teachers or the complaints will be ignored and the matter will be put on hold.
