Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa 2 trailer has finally dropped. It was launched at a grand event held in Patna and the actors attended the trailer release.
The 2-minute-48-second trailer of Pushpa 2 begins with people questioning the identity of Pushpa Raj. It then introduces the character, with a woman’s voice in the background saying, “Pushpa naam nahi hai, Pushpa matlab brand.” Allu Arjun makes a striking entrance, followed by the introduction of Srivalli, played by Rashmika Mandanna. One notable aspect of the nearly 3-minute clip is how the film focuses on a man who defies patriarchy by listening to his wife.
Ahead of it, Allu Arjun shared a new poster which further increased the excitement level among the fans. Many were seen dropping fire emojis in the comment section. The film is releasing on December 5. Taking to his Instagram handle, Allu Arjun shared the poster which shows him holding two axes and in a fierce avatar. “#Pushpa2TheRuleTrailer out Tomorrow at 6:03 PM,” read the caption. As soon as he shared the poster, fans flooded the comment section. One of the fans wrote, “Waiting”. Another wrote, “Excitement level.” Many have also shared heart emojis. Rashmika Mandanna also shared the poster.
For those who missed the teaser, the 1-minute and 8-second teaser kicked off with powerful drum beats and sacred chants. The camera zoomed in on Pushpa’s anklets as he walked forward with determination. Wearing a blue saree cinched at the waist with a golden belt, Pushpa appeared ready for a showdown. As for his look, Allu Arjun’s face was painted with blue and red hues, symbolizing his involvement in the Gangamma Thalli Jathara, a traditional festival in Tirupati.
Meanwhile, choosing Patna for the Hindi trailer launch reflects Allu Arjun and the filmmaker’s bold step to increase the excitement of the people in the Hindi-speaking regions. The makers mentioned that this initiative can help the film touch new heights. The ambience at this special event at Patna’s Gandhi Maidan is expected to be unforgettable.
The first part of the film reported a box office collection of more than Rs 350 crore, becoming one of the year’s highest-grossing films. The trailer and songs released have already received a good response from the audience. Directed by Sukumar, it stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Sreeleela and Prakash Raj in leading roles.
