Minister of State Gulab Devi removed it with his hands by hitting it with a hammer. After demolishing the shop, he said, this was my father’s shop, his last symbol, but I demolished that too. Because nothing is more important to us than the rules of the government. The interest of the society is supreme. I will do whatever work needs to be done in public interest.

Let us tell you, on Sunday at 10 am, the removal of encroachment campaign in Sambhal Municipal Council Chandausi city started under the leadership of DM Dr. Rajendra Pansia. UP Education Minister Gulab Devi’s father’s shop also got hit by encroachment. The Education Minister herself along with DM-SDM reached her father’s shop and broke it using a hammer.

Minister of State Gulab Devi further said, my message to everyone is to maintain cleanliness in the city. Do not spread filth anywhere. Work according to the rules. The government is not doing bad to anyone. This is the government which cannot even think of doing bad to anyone. Our entire administration is engaged. No one has been harmed who has worked as per the government rules.

Efforts are being made to open the blocked drains. There is not even a big drain below my shop. Just a minor drain, but even after that I demolished the shop. I am ready for this work because whatever is happening to the public, is happening to me also. This shop is at least 45 years old. My father used to press it but today I dropped my father’s symbol with my own hands.

The price of the shop is said to be Rs 5 lakh.

Minister of State Gulab Devi got married in Chandauli. She is a resident of Chandauli. His father has died. The shop which they broke was still closed. There was no work in it. His shop is about 1 kilometer away from home. The price of the shop at this time was around Rs 5 lakh. The shop was on the main road.

Some people are destroying their shops themselves – DM

DM Dr. Rajendra Pansia said, ‘Encroachment removal campaign is being run continuously for the last 8 days in Chandausi city. The shops built over the drain have been demolished. In the same sequence, the Minister of State also demolished his shop. Some people have themselves demolished their shops with the help of bulldozers.
