Nandini Borkar’s wife Ashurosh, a resident of Hewet Marg, told that she had gone to Jalaun with her husband on October 18. His son was still on Ankur. During this time, Ankur called friends Osama and Raj home. Booked Rapido and brought a key locksmith from Campbell Road. Made a fake key for the cupboard and opened the locker.
Jewelry worth about Rs 11 lakh was stolen. When Nandani returned, she could not find out for a long time. On November 10, when the cupboard was opened to take out the jewellery, the jewelery was found missing. When there was suspicion on the son and he was interrogated, he did not tell anything. When asked strictly, he told the whole story. After coming to know about the theft incident from her son, Nandini asked Osama to return the jewellery. On which the accused started threatening to kill him.
On being pressurized, Ankur was called to meet near the civil court. Where Osama reached with Advocate Ankit. Threatened Ankur that if his family complained to the police, they would have to suffer losses. After this the woman lodged a complaint against the accused at Aminabad police station. Inspector Aminabad Sunil Kumar Prajapati said that a case has been registered against sons Ankur, Raj, Osama and Ankit and investigation is being done.
