Sowing of potato and wheat is now in the final stages in Firozabad, but farmers are facing acute shortage of DAP (Di-Ammonium Phosphate) fertilizer. The situation is such that farmers stand in long lines for fertilizer at resource cooperative societies from seven in the morning.

In the viral video, some laborers are seen unloading sacks of fertilizer from the truck at the committee’s warehouse. This video is said to be from Gram Panchayat Bairni Sanaura Committee of Hathwant Block. Sacks of fertilizer are also being kept in the tractor-trolley parked near the truck. Some people standing there are seen stopping the person making the video. The villagers allege that some part of the DAP sent to the committee is being loaded in tractor-trolleys and sent for black marketing.
Meanwhile, SDM Ankit Verma said that the video will be investigated. If the allegations are found true, strict action will be taken against the culprits. Another video of Fariha Cooperative Society has also surfaced, in which some people are seen carrying sacks of fertilizer on bikes. Villagers say that the committee employees return the fertilizer to the farmers during the day, but black market the fertilizer at night.
Committee Secretary Amar Singh says that some farmers had left DAP sacks at the centre, which they came to collect at night. He says that the video regarding these sacks has been made viral.
