A female Zomato food delivery partner spotted in Gujarat’s Rajkot delivering food with her child sitting in front of her in her bike has gone viral on social media.
Netizens have reacted to Instagram user @vishvid’s video and many have praised the woman for her grit and determination for delivering food with her toddler.
The woman was working as a delivery partner for just over a month, she told the Instagrammer who posted the video. She is also a hotel management student who found it difficult to secure a job after getting married, she said.
She said that it led her to take up food delivery as a way to earn a living.
“I tried to look for jobs at many places, but they rejected me because I have a kid. Then I thought that since I have a bike, why can’t I bring my child to work?” the woman said.
Netizens reacted to the video by sharing positive messages and emojis, while some pointed out that she was not able to afford a helmet or slippers.
