During the Bigg Boss 18 episode, Salman Khan called out Ashneer over some controversial statements he had made about him in the past.

Former Shark Tank India judge and BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover has addressed his recent interaction with Bigg Boss 18 host Salman Khan. During the episode, Salman called out Ashneer Grover over some controversial statements he had made about the actor in the past.

Taking to his X account, Ashneer shared his thoughts alongside a photo of him shaking hands with Salman from the episode. He began by expressing his enjoyment of the show and credited Salman for his hosting skills. “I hope you enjoyed the Bigg Boss weekend ka vaar! I had good fun. And I am sure the particular episode got great TRP/viewership,” he wrote, before listing a series of clarifications about his past remarks.

Ashneer declared that his statements were accurate, saying: “Salman is a great host & actor. Salman knows what works on Bigg Boss. I’ve always praised Salman for his sense of self and business—nothing demeaning ever said about him.

My deal numbers are always correct (bank/auditor verified). Met Salman in an exclusive meeting on the brand collab for 3 hours in May 2019 at JW Marriott Juhu, along with the ad director (it’s okay if he doesn’t remember—I wasn’t a public figure then; he meets tons of people). The invite for Bigg Boss was not ‘unnamed,’ just like the cheque for the same.”

Concluding with humour, he added, “And finally, I have a pic with him—which I didn’t earlier! Thanks @BeingSalmanKhan. Keep rocking!”

His statement comes after Ashneer’s comments on the Vagehra Vagehra podcast went viral, where he recalled being denied a photo opportunity with Salman in the past. On Bigg Boss, Salman had responded, “I don’t feel bad, but when you give a wrong impression about someone, it’s not right. Later it’ll bite you itself.” He further advised Ashneer, “Be careful with how you present yourself, even when we are not there.”
