The troubles of more than one lakh people around Pandit Kheda are not decreasing. The work of construction of drain for drainage here has come to a standstill. The situation is such that apart from JE, XEN and Chief Engineer, the local people have also lodged complaints with the Mayor and Municipal Commissioner.

Work has come to a standstill here for several months. Local people allege that the drain construction work was to be done in three months. But till now only 100 meters of drain construction has been done in 8 months. That work has also not been done properly.
The situation is that due to lack of drain in Pandit Kheda, the problem of waterlogging persists at many places. Also there are potholes on the road. Local people complained from the Municipal Corporation to the Mayor but no hearing was held. People are troubled by the half-finished construction work. The construction of the drain being built by the Municipal Corporation has stopped.
Municipal Commissioner did not give any answer
The people here also talked to the Municipal Commissioner regarding this on Monday. Vineet Mishra, a local resident of Pandit Kheda, said that the Municipal Commissioner did not give any reply after the meeting. He said that he will look into the matter but did not talk about concrete action.
The water of many colonies of this area including Shubham City, Gold City, Nand City, Gokul City has to pass through this drain. In such a situation, many people including Arun Shukla, Vineet Mishra, Amit Singh, JP Pandey, Lovelesh Bhatia expressed their displeasure due to non-construction of the drain. Councilor Geeta Devi is also completely silent in the matter.
