Doctors admitted the newborn son to SNCU. Lakshmi’s son was also admitted here. When the fire broke out in SNCU on Friday night, infants started being handed over to the newborns. In the haste and darkness, other newborns were handed over to many family members. During this time Shanti’s child was given to Lakshmi.
Kept getting treatment in private hospital
Lakshmi was also handed over her son.
After the incident, Lakshmi admitted her child to a private hospital. The family kept taking care of him. Whereas, Kriparam did not find his son. In such a situation, he got worried and started wandering. For the past 3 days, he was sometimes going to the emergency ward and sometimes to the ward to see the children. But his child was not found. Kriparam became disheartened due to the disappearance of first his wife and then his son. He didn’t even eat food and just kept on ranting about the child.
…then the child was found like this
By Sunday all the children had found their families. But, there was a child in the medical who could not find his parents. Kriparam had also said that this is not my child. Lakshmi’s name was tagged on the child’s hand. In such a situation, Lakshmi’s file was searched. When I found the number on the file, I came to know that the child has been admitted to a private hospital. When the administration spoke, they said that my son is admitted in the hospital.
Then she was told that your child is admitted in the medical college, the child you have belongs to someone else. In such a situation, Lakshmi reached the medical college with the child. After this both of them were handed over their children. After getting the son, happiness appeared on Kriparam’s face.
