Voting will be held on November 20 for the by-election to be held on Majhwan Assembly seat of Mirzapur. To conduct the assembly by-elections in a fair and peaceful manner, SP Abhinandan reached the Government Polytechnic College, Bathua in the city on Monday night.

Visited the polling party departure point
The SP visited and inspected the strong room built in the college, the counting place and the polling party departure point. After inspecting the strong room and counting venue, necessary directions were given to the concerned officials. Asked to maintain the traffic system during departure for polling party booths.
Instructions for implementing appropriate diversion
The Superintendent of Police asked to make comprehensive arrangements by making appropriate diversions to maintain the traffic system smoothly. Polling parties will leave from the Government Polytechnic campus on November 19 along with security personnel along with EVMs and election material. A total of 262 polling stations and 442 booths have been made in Majhwan assembly constituency.
