Collectorganj Police has revealed the incident of chain robbery that happened to a woman a week ago in Kanpur. Police have arrested three vicious criminals in the case and have also recovered the broken chain. Police also asked about whether there are any other associates in their gang or not.

On November 9, the chain of Vinita Devi, wife of Mahendra Kumar Sharma, resident of Kachhiyana, was looted by scooty-riding scoundrels. Mahendra had lodged an FIR against unknown persons at Collectorganj police station on 10th November. DCP East Shravan Kumar Singh said that ACP Collectorganj Mohsin Khan and his team were involved in this matter. The police traced the accused through surveillance and human surveillance and surrounded and arrested them.
These were arrested
Rehman alias Lala, Akash Singh alias Sonu and Samad Khan alias Chand, residents of Kanshiram Colony Panki, have been arrested. Police have recovered three pieces of chain and a mobile phone from the accused.
The chain was sold in pieces
ACP Mohsin Khan said that the accused had sold the chain in two pieces, one to jewelers of Bekanganj and the other to Panki area. Police reached these jewelers and recovered the original chain.
