Shalini Passi, one of the newest entrants in Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives Season 3, has become a fan favourite for her refreshing candour. Joining the OG cast of Neelam Kothari, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavana Panday, and Seema Sajdeh, along with fellow newcomers Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Kalyani Saha Chawla, Shalini brought a fresh dynamic to the Netflix reality show.

In a recent interview with Filmfare, Shalini opened up about her bond with Bollywood’s power couple, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, and shared insights from her journey on the show. Interestingly, her husband, Sanjay Passi, and Shah Rukh Khan were batchmates at Hansraj College, Delhi. Speaking about SRK, Shalini said, “You wouldn’t find anyone who has inspired audiences who have just started watching movies to someone who is 80. He’s a phenomenon.”

Among the many things she admires about Shah Rukh, his love for reading stood out. “I never read, and he ends up reading so many books in one go,” said Shalini, who is known for her passion for art and design. She also mentioned his parenting style and sense of hospitality as qualities she deeply respects.

Shalini recalled how Shah Rukh and Gauri attended her wedding to Sanjay Passi. She also revealed that Gauri Khan, who has made cameo appearances in all three seasons of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, supported her debut on the reality show. “After watching the first few episodes, she called me and said that she loved it and that she was proud of me,” Shalini shared.

Despite concerns from her friends about her straightforward personality and reluctance for confrontation or gossip, Shalini has managed to strike a chord with viewers.
