Waiting for DAP on Instrument Cooperative Society
When farmers got information about getting DAP fertilizer at Sadhan Cooperative Society located in Nasirganj of Tehsil Jamunha area, a large number of farmers reached there. But when fertilizer was not available for a long time, the farmers became angry and blocked the road. Due to this, traffic on the road was disrupted for a long time. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot, convinced the farmers, got the jam removed and assured them of providing fertilizer soon.
Farmers’ allegation, danger of delay in sowing
Farmers allege that they have been coming to the cooperative society for fertilizer for the last two days, but they are only being given dates and are not getting DAP fertilizer. Farmers say that if fertilizer is not available on time, their wheat sowing will be delayed, which will affect the crop.
Farmers’ demands fulfilled, fertilizer distribution started
After convincing the farmers, after some time the Secretary reached the spot and started the distribution of DAP. Officials said that DAP fertilizer will be available to all the farmers of the area in the next one to two days.
