Ace producer Ritesh Sidhwani shared Azaad’s poster on Instagram with a heartfelt note for the team.

Raveena Tandon’s daughter, Rasha Thadani, and Ajay Devgn’s nephew, Aaman Devgan, are gearing up for their debut film, Azaad, to hit the theatres. Multiple reports state that the movie will be released in January 2025. Ahead of the same, filmmakers are releasing teasers and posters to raise excitement among fans. Now, ace producer Ritesh Sidhwani posted a congratulatory post for the entire team of Azaad, adding to the anticipation.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Ritesh Sidhwani shared a poster of the period drama film Azaad, directed by Abhishek Kapoor. It featured the lead actors Rasha Thadani and Aaman Devgan in intense looks. While a side-look of the debutant actor was visible, Rasha rested her head on his shoulder. Raveena Tandon’s beautiful daughter was decked in a simple girl look featuring her kohl-rimmed eyes and messy hairdo. Besides this, another glimpse of a man riding a horse was also found on the poster. Sharing the poster, Ritesh penned his heartfelt gratitude towards the entire team of Azaad and wrote, “Welcome to the movies @rashathadani @aamandevgan All the best team #Azaad @ajaydevgn @gattukapoor @ronnie.screwvala @pragyakapoor_ @dianapenty.”

Ltd. & Abhishek Kapoor, Azaad is a Hindi-language film based on a family’s love for their horse in pre-independence India. The skilled horse rider played by Ajay’s nephew also shares a deep bond with his horse. Thus, after the horse’s disappearance during an attempted escape from British authorities, the rider’s nephew is assigned to locate and retrieve the missing animal. Rasha, on the other hand, portrays the role of what seems like his love interest.

Ritesh Shah, Suresh Nair and Abhishek Kapoor wrote the storyline. In addition to the lead characters, the action drama film also stars Ajay Devgn, Diana Penty, Mohit Malik, and Piyush Mishramore in other lead roles.

The teaser for Azaad was released on November 5. It features high-end action scenes that have left the audience in awe. It travels back to the time when Maharana Pratap indulged in some severe fights to show Indian strength against the British. Ever since its release, the video has already gone viral on YouTube.
