The body of a youth missing for four days was found hanging from a tree in Barjor Bubupur village of Bazar Shukul police station area of Amethi. The young man’s bike was also parked nearby. The youth has been identified as Pawan Kumar Gautam (20), son of Ramkalp. Pawan had gone missing under suspicious circumstances four days ago. The family members searched for him everywhere but could not find any trace. On Monday, the family had lodged a missing report at Bazar Shukul police station.
Villagers informed the police after seeing the dead body This evening, Pawan’s body was found hanging from a mango tree in an orchard near the village. His bike was also parked nearby. Seeing the dead body, the villagers immediately informed the police. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem.
Police has started the investigation of the matter. Whether the reason behind the youth’s death under suspicious circumstances is suicide or murder, it will be clear only after the post-mortem report and investigation. Family members say that he had no enmity with anyone. Now why and how this incident happened is beyond understanding.
