After receiving information about the accident, Khajuri Chowki police reached the spot. An ambulance was called and all three were taken to the hospital. W Prajapati alias Kariya and Ramskal Prajapati, residents of Khalispur in Mirza Murad police station area, had gone to Pandeypur in the city for a wedding ceremony organized by a relative. There was a wedding ceremony in his relative’s house and he was returning home from Pandepur at 10 pm with another woman on a bike.

All three were going on a high speed bike in Khajuri Chowki area on Varanasi-Prayagraj Highway when they did not see the truck parked on the roadside and the bike rammed into it from behind. After the accident, all three fell apart with a loud noise. The driver’s head hit the truck.

In the accident, both the youths died on the spot while the woman is seriously injured. All three were taken to BHU Trauma Center in Varanasi, where doctors have started treating the woman. After getting information about the incident, the family members also reached the trauma center.
