2 lakh fine imposed on contractor of Joggers Park. Jogger Park contractor fined Rs 2 lakh: VC inspected and found work not as per standard, gym to be built in the park – Lucknow News


During the inspection of Jargus Park, a fine of Rs 2 lakh was imposed on the contractor.

LDA VC Prathamesh Kumar has imposed a fine of Rs 2 lakh on the contractor of Joggers Park. VC had arrived to inspect the park on Wednesday. During this period, many irregularities were found in the gardening and maintenance work.

The VC reprimanded the people of the organization carrying out the work in the park. A fine of Rs 2 lakh was imposed on the executing agency M/s Shree Sai Shakti. The VC directed that the work should be started immediately after preparing estimates for repair and painting of toilet blocks and boundary walls, painting, horticulture, signage boards and electrical works.

Gym will be developed in the park

Apart from this, an open gym should be developed in the park along with replacing the old broken swings. Secretary Vivek Srivastava, Additional Secretary Gyanendra Verma, Chief Engineer Avnindra Kumar Singh and concerned zonal officers and engineers were present during the inspection.

During this time the VC has talked about building a gym in the park.

Pumping station will be ready in the month of December

The Vice President also inspected the pumping station being built between Janeshwar Mishra Park and G-20 Road. In this, it was told by the officials that a pumping station of 400 kiloliter capacity is being built at a cost of Rs 9 crore. The civil work has been completed to a large extent and the equipment to be installed in the pumping station has also arrived. VC directed to complete the work in December
