In Shravasti, DM and SP conducted surprise inspection of fertilizer sales centers on the India-Nepal border. During this time, fertilizer was found stored unauthorized by making a godown in the basement of a building in Tal Baghauda market near India Nepal border of development block Sirsia. h

During inspection, it was found that the fertilizer center operating in the name of Sahil Traders was registered in Bechua. Whereas during shop inspection in Bechua, the warehouse was found to be under construction and was not suitable for operation. District Agriculture Officer said that he had inspected the Bechua warehouse only 3 days ago. In which involvement of the District Agriculture Officer was also found. Whereas the fertilizer warehouse was being operated by Sahil Traders in Tal Baghora market. From which it appears that the said warehouse was being operated illegally in Tal Baghora.
The person caught on the spot told that the fertilizer is sent from here to Nepal by bicycle and motorcycle through Roshanpurwa and other routes. During inspection, it was also found that black marketing of fertilizer was being done from the small gate built behind Tal Baghauda warehouse.
The District Magistrate said that as per the government order, storage and sale of fertilizers is prohibited within 5 kilometers of the India-Nepal border. This fertilizer has been found stored unauthorized. Deputy Director Agriculture was directed to take action against the establishment under Fertilizer Control Order 1985 and Essential Commodities Act 1955.
The fertilizer center was sealed by Sub-Collector Bhinga and a case has been registered against the shopkeeper under Illegal Storage and Black Marketing Act. For negligence, District Agriculture Officer and Additional District Agriculture Officer have been issued show cause notices and instructions have been given to send a letter to the government for suspension and departmental action against them.
