After lighting the lamp the cultural evening started. Artists from various districts including Lucknow gave a spectacular presentation of dance, songs, music and poems. On this occasion, Riddhi-Siddhi’s mesmerizing dance on Shiva-Parvati from the stage mesmerized all the audience. At the festival, people laughed loudly at the poems of comedian poets.
Artists performing at Hindustan Handicrafts Festival
Organizers Arun Pratap Singh and Gunjan Verma honored the artists who participated in the cultural and poetry conference of the festival. On this occasion, Arun Pratap Singh said that the main objective of Hindustan Handicraft Festival is to emphasize women empowerment. Extinct folk arts, handicrafts artisans and weavers should be promoted. All these arts are part of our culture. Today, in the era of artificial materials, we are trying to save the extinct art. The government is continuously running campaigns for local artists, due to which self-employment is also increasing.
