Vijay Deverakonda Confirms Being In A Relationship; Says ‘I Know What It Feels Like To Be Loved…’ – News18

Vijay Deverakonda is rumoured to be dating Rashmika Mandanna. He recently confirmed that he is currently in a relationship, and shared his idea about love.

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have been rumoured to be dating for a few years now. Despite their frequent sightings together, neither of them has acknowledged these rumours, and have remained tight-lipped so far. Vijay recently shared his views on love, relationships and marriage, and while doing so, he confirmed that he is currently in a relationship.

In a conversation with Curly Tales, Vijay said that he feels ‘unconditional love’ is over-romanticised and that he feels love comes with expectations. “I know what it feels like to be loved, and I know what it is to love. I don’t know unconditional love because my love comes with expectations, so clearly my love isn’t unconditional. And I don’t know of any love that comes without conditions- maybe there is, maybe it’s my ignorance to it. But love is a nice thing, at the end of the day. Everything else, I feel is too over-romanticised. I don’t even know if it’s okay to expect unconditional love.”

When asked about his perspective on marriage, and whether it hinders one’s career, Vijay Deverakonda said that it is more challenging for women. “Marriage doesn’t have to come in between someone’s career. Marriage is a little harder on women for sure . It also depends on the profession you are in,” he said. In another segment, the actor confirmed that he is in a relationship. He jokingly added, “I am 35 years old; you think I will be single?” When asked if he has ever dated a co-star, the actor said, “I have.” In the same interview, he also shared, “I don’t go out on dates. I go out only after a long time of knowing someone, after building a friendship.” Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have worked together in the 2018 film Geetha Govindam, and the 2019 film Dear Comrade.

Recently, Vijay Deverakonda gave a shout out to Rashmika and Allu Arjun’s film Pushpa 2. Sharing the link of the film’s trailer, he wrote, “Wildddddd. Love. Love. Love it!” In response, Rashmika wrote, “Wild it is!” along with a pink heart emoji.
