Lucknow Police arrested 2 cable thieves on Thursday. Stolen ABC cable recovered from Bilali Masjid near Nadarganj Power House in Sarojini Nagar police station area.

According to the police, on September 4, Rajkumar, an employee of Nadarganj Powerhouse, had filed a complaint in the police station that a drum of ABC cable had been stolen from near Bilali Masjid. On this complaint, a case was registered in Sarojini Nagar police station and investigation was started.

While investigating, the team of Sarojini Nagar police station arrested two accused near the traffic booth at Nadarganj intersection on November 20. The accused were identified as Suresh Kumar Kashyap alias Karan Kashyap and Rohit Singh. Rs 4,750 for selling stolen cables was also recovered from both of them.

Stolen cable found in the forest

On the information of the accused, the police have also recovered the stolen cable from the forest near Kaithi Canal. Sarojini Nagar police station in-charge Rajdev Prajapati says that after the case was registered, a search was started for these people. Both have been arrested and sent to jail.
