Shivani Dubey, a resident of Railway Colony, Govind Nagar, told that on the afternoon of November 20, she had gone to the ATA of Barra Karrahi market. During this time, a young man pretended to help by saying that he was facing some technical problem. After this he cheated and changed the ATM. Shortly after leaving the ATM, 90 thousand rupees were deducted from his account one after another. This transaction was done through his ATM. She reached the ATM but it was too late. The woman told that the vicious person had also asked for the password of the ATM on the pretext of helping her. After this Shivani informed about the matter in Barra police station. Due to lack of hearing at Barra police station, she appeared before DCP South Ankita Sharma on 21 November and filed a complaint to file a report.

DCP South said that Barra police station in-charge has been ordered to file a report in the matter. Preliminary investigation has confirmed fraud. Efforts are being made to catch the vicious fraudster by collecting CCTV footage from the ATM.
