On Friday, a youth committed suicide by pouring petrol under suspicious circumstances in village Amita of At Kotwali area of ​​Jalaun. The young man was burnt to death, causing panic in the area. As soon as the information about this incident was received, the police reached the spot and took the body to the post mortem.

Chhote Singh (38), resident of Amita village, committed suicide by pouring petrol due to unknown reasons. Local people saw the incident and tried to extinguish the fire, but by then the young man was badly burnt and died. On receiving information, the police reached the spot and started investigation.

The family of deceased Chhote Singh has two daughters and a son. Elder daughter Nidhi (14), younger daughter Shivi (12) and son Nitin (10). His wife Sushila is in bad condition and crying. The deceased used to support his family by farming.

Police investigation continues

Police station in-charge Vimlesh Kumar said that the matter is being investigated and efforts are being made to find out why the youth took such steps to commit suicide. The police have taken the body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem.
