Saved by family members, admitted to hospital
The farmer’s family members chased the wild boar and saved the farmer’s life. The seriously injured farmer was immediately admitted to the Community Health Center in Aliganj. Where the doctors after first aid referred him to a higher center for better treatment.
Statement of the incident from the farmer
Injured farmer Aitraj told that he was working in his field in the afternoon. Then suddenly a wild pig came running from the bushes and attacked them. To defend himself, he attacked the pig with a shovel, but the wild pig bit him on several parts of the body, including the thigh, hand and genitals. The family took him to the hospital in a blood soaked condition.
doctor’s statement
Doctor Dr. Shiv Kumar told that the injured farmer has suffered serious injuries and the wild pig has attacked many parts of his body, due to which there was heavy bleeding. After first aid, he has been sent to a higher center for better treatment.
Concern over increasing wild boar attacks
This incident points to the increasing attacks by wild pigs, which are becoming a major threat to farmers and villagers. Regional residents say that they need safety measures against the increasing attacks by wild animals, so that such incidents can be avoided.
