In Jaunpur, the High Court has appointed Sant Kabir Nagar District Judge Anil Kumar Verma I as the new District Judge of the Civil Court. District Judge Vani Ranjan Aggarwal has been transferred to Unnao.

56 year old Anil Kumar Verma is a native of Lucknow. After passing the HJS examination, he was appointed Additional District Judge in Jalaun on 15 December 2008. Later posted in Shahjahanpur, Etawah, Sitapur districts.
Anil Kumar Verma became the District Judge of Auraiya on 30 August 2021. He has been the District Judge of Sant Kabir Nagar since August 7, 2023. Now he has been appointed as District Judge in Civil Court. He will retire on 31 December 2028. This information was given by senior civil court advocate Himanshu Srivastava.
