A comedy play named ‘Dev Ki Paari’ was staged at the Sangeet Natak Academy located in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. It was presented by Awadh Combined Natya Academy.

Mohit Barua joined Murtaza Ali as the chief guest at the event. The play was written and directed by Imran Khan. The program started with Ganesh Vandana, after which the main drama made the audience laugh a lot.
Dev-Paro’s love story

The story of the drama revolves around Dev and his girlfriend Paro. One day Dev falls asleep while waiting for Paro in the park. Sees a strange dream.
In the dream, Paro gets married to someone else. In grief, he licks Paro’s diamond ring and dies. Yamraj and his messengers come to take him to heaven, but Dev refuses to go without Paro.
Eventually he wakes up and realizes it was all a dream. The play ends happily, when Paro tells her that she will marry only Dev.
The excellent acting of the actors captivated
In the drama, the role of Dev was played by Shashank Pandey, while the role of Paro was played by Anamika Singh. Atul Dwivedi played the role of Yamraj and Ranjit Pal played the role of Yamdoot.
Other artists include Sapna Singh, Amar Pathak, Ankita Vajpayee, Salim Rajan, Pradeep Kumar and Mohd. Rahman was involved. At the end of the play, the guest honored the artists for their excellent performance.
