Fans were thrilled to spot him out and about, soaking up the sights and indulging in local treats. The star was seen wandering through the iconic Chowk market, where he tried the legendary makhan malai, giving a sweet nod to Lucknow’s rich culinary heritage. Videos of his outing have gone viral, showing Diljit and his entourage exploring the city with his trademark charm and style.
Diljit reportedly enjoyed the makhan malai so much that he asked how it was made. Dressed in a white kurta-pyjama and shawl, he explored the market with charm. As news of his visit spread, fans quickly gathered to see him. Videos show him smiling and waving to the crowd while heading back to his car.
Diljit Dosanjh’s Dil-Luminati Tour, after covering the US, Canada, and Europe, has now come to India. It began in Delhi on October 26, followed by shows in Hyderabad and Ahmedabad. Actor Kartik Aaryan joined him on stage during the Ahmedabad concert, thrilling fans.
Meanwhile, Diljit has announced the Mumbai leg of Dil-Luminati India Tour 2024. On Wednesday, the Punjabi singer-actor took to his Instagram stories and shared a poster, revealing he will be performing in Mumbai on December 19. “We heard you! Mumbai show announced,” the poster read. Re-sharing it, Diljit wrote, “Lao ji finally ho gaya add Mumbai”.
Later, in a statement, Diljit shared his excitement and said, “Mumbai is a city like no other—a city of dreams, a city of magic! I am thrilled to finally bring the Dil-Luminati experience to my fans here.”
Tickets for the Mumbai show go live on November 22, 2024, exclusively on Zomato Live. A pre-sale will be available for HSBC India cardholders from 2 PM to 5 PM, followed by general ticket sales starting at 5 PM onwards.
