There was a huge crowd of devotees in the Khatu Shyam Bhajan evening.

The audience became enthralled after listening to the bhajans of the artists at the Khatu Shyam Bhajan Evening under the aegis of Shyama Kishori Committee in Syana. Offering of 56 food items, showering of flowers and spraying of perfume were special events in the program which lasted till midnight.

A grand Sankirtan of Baba Shyam was organized by the devotees of Khatu Shyam in the ground located on Bugrasi Road of Sayana Nagar. In this, Anishtha, Anushka and Sheetal Pandey of Madhya Pradesh, Delhi mesmerized the devotees with their musical bhajans.

The program was started by the priest with the worship of Shri Ganesh. The statue was decorated with grand decorations of Khatu Shyam on the stage. Khatu was done by Shyam’s Jyoti Aahwan and Shrangar. Every devotee coming to the program was welcomed by applying soft sandalwood on his forehead and wearing a scarf with Khatu Shyam written on it around his neck.

56 offerings were made to Baba. Thousands of devotees came to worship Baba. A huge Bhandara was also organized for the devotees. Apart from the city and area, devotees from far away places participated in the Sankirtan held under the aegis of Shri Shyam Kishori Committee.

Police force remained prompt in making arrangements Police force remained deployed to maintain order in the city. Kotwali in-charge Premchand Sharma remained deployed with the police force. Devotees arriving for Sankirtan had to face traffic jam. The police had to work hard to clear the jam. Kotwali in-charge had told that police teams were deployed on the routes for the devotees to go. The committee members kept the system in order. During this period, Rahul Verma, Mayank Agarwal, Rahul Garg, Amit Garg, Adeep Agarwal, Shalin Garg, Rahul Jindal, Ankit Jindal, Nishu Rastogi and Punit Singhal etc. were the committee members.
