The reason for Renu’s death has not been clear. According to the villagers, Renu was married two years ago in Ramanpur village of Hathras. He has two small children. Renu’s relative Rajendra Prasad, who was present at the spot, said that Ankur, who lived with his maternal grandparents since childhood, had himself brought his wife to the hospital.
Police station in-charge Neeta Maheshwari said that the information was received from the medical college late in the evening. The police team has started action to fill the Panchnama of the body and conduct post-mortem. According to preliminary information, Renu died due to hanging. The exact cause of death will be clear only after the post mortem report comes. At present, the body has been kept outside the emergency of the medical college. Police are investigating further.
