Unfair benefit was given to the driver
The investigation also revealed that both of them gave undue benefits to the driver of the vehicle carrying cattle. In such a situation, SP has taken action against both of them in this case.
The entire incident is being told of 21st November. Where constables Vinay Kumar Dwivedi and Rahul Kumar, posted at Bhupauli outpost of Alinagar police station area, seized a vehicle laden with cattle during investigation. After this the vehicle was brought to Bhupoli post.
The matter of taking money came to light in the investigation
During investigation, the driver of the vehicle did not have any valid document related to the cow dynasty. But later both of them abandoned the vehicle loaded with cows. If sources are to be believed, in this case it has also come to light that both of them took some money from the driver.
However, when the entire incident came to his notice, SP Aditya Langhe got it investigated. During the investigation the role of both the police personnel came to light. In such a situation, he has suspended constables Vinay Kumar Dwivedi and Rahul Kumar.
SP ordered departmental inquiry
SP said that the allegations of gross negligence, laxity and indiscipline by both the police personnel in discharging their responsibilities have been confirmed. In such a situation, along with suspending both of them, a departmental inquiry has been ordered.
