27. Jhunjhunu is an Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) constituency in Rajasthan. This constituency is located in Jhunjhunu district and North region of Rajasthan. The reservation status of this seat is: General. Jhunjhunu is part of the 4. Jhunjhunu (General) Lok Sabha constituency. There are a total of 200 seats in the Rajasthan state Assembly.

PAST ELECTION RESULTS
In the 2023 Rajasthan Assembly election, Brijendra Singh Ola of INC defeated Nisheet Kumar of BJP by a margin of 28,863 votes which was 14.90% of the total votes polled. A total of 1,93,757 votes were polled in the election, of which INC got 86,798 votes which was 44.48% of the total votes polled.
Brijendra Singh Ola (INC) won the Jhunjhunu Lok Sabha seat, of which Jhunjhunu is a part of.
POLL DATES
The gazette notification for the Jhunjhunu bypoll was issued on October 18, 2024 (Friday), the last date of scrutiny of nominations was October 28, 2024 (Monday) and the last date of withdrawal of nominations was October 30, 2024 (Wednesday). This constituency voted on on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 and the counting of votes is happening on Saturday, November 23, 2024.
In the 2023 Assembly elections the counting of votes was held on Sunday, December 3, 2023.

In the 2023 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Jhunjhunu had an total electorate of 2,67,087 voters, of which 1,39,302 were male and 1,27,785 female voters.
