In the 2014 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Desai Shambhuraj Shivajirao of SS won in this seat defeating Patankar Satyajit Vikramsinh of NCP by a margin of 18,824 which was 9.11% of the total votes cast for the seat. SS had a vote share of 50.52% in 2014 in this seat.

In the 2009 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Patankar Vikramsinh Ranjitsinh of NCP won in this seat defeating Desai Shambhuraj Shivajirao of SS by a margin of 580 which was 0.32% of the total votes cast for the seat. NCP had a vote share of 48.08% in 2009 in this seat.
