Rang Kala Utsav-2024 was organized by Avadh Combined Drama Academy in Lucknow at Valmiki Rangshala. The main attraction of the program was the brilliant staging of the comedy drama ‘Dev Ki Paro’ directed by Imran Khan. Which was greatly appreciated by the audience.

Artists present at the event
The story of the play revolves around Dev and Paro. Dev’s dream, dialogue with Yamraj and his messengers and finally Paro agreeing to marry Dev left the audience filled with laughter and joy. The play featured stellar performances by Shashank Sharmati Pandey (Dev), Anamika Singh (Paro), Atul Dwivedi (Yamraj) and Ranjit Pal (Yamdoot) among others. The play was also written and directed by Imran Khan.

The program started with Ganesh Vandana. It was directed by Ankita Bajpayee. After this, Gargi Dwivedi won the hearts of the audience with his Kathak dance and Ram Stuti presentation. ‘Ui Maa Ui Maa Ye Kya Ho Gaya’ presented by the children and Sakshi Yadav’s solo dance also received a lot of applause. In singing, Amar Pathak and Salim Khan stole the show with their performance.
