The dead body of a farmer was found lying in the field under suspicious circumstances in Ikdil area of Etawah. The farmer had come out of his house to water. When he did not reach home till late evening, the family members started searching. When sister-in-law went to the field, she found the farmer lying in the mud.

Vidyaram Shakya (65), son of Narottam Singh, resident of village Nagla Keshavpur Kala of Ikdil police station area of Etawah, had left home at around 11 am on Friday morning to water the mustard fields. When he did not reach home till late evening, his family members reached the farm to see him.
Police sent the body for postmortem He saw that Vidyaram’s body was lying in the soil in the field. The family immediately informed the nearby police about the incident. Police and forensic team reached the spot and started investigation. Younger son Mukesh told that when Tai Santoshi Devi went to the temple for worship on Wednesday evening, she went to the nearby field and saw that her father was lying dead. As soon as information about the incident was received, there was chaos in the family. Deceased Vidyaram has four brothers and all four cultivate one bigha each and support their family through this. Ikdil police station has conducted the post-mortem of Vidyaram.
The police arrived on information about the incident and investigated.
