The e-rickshaw was wrecked due to a speeding tractor-trolley collision near Rajnapur village under Mahadeva outpost of Ramnagar police station area. This accident happened at around 9 pm, when a tractor-trolley carrying sugarcane at high speed from Mahadeva side and an e-rickshaw coming from Ramnagar collided head-on.

In this accident, 12 year old Gungun Gautam, daughter of Ramsharan Gautam, resident of Badanpur, who was riding under the tractor-trolley, got trapped and was crushed under the wheels of the tractor. Due to which he died tragically on the spot. Gungun was going somewhere in an e-rickshaw with her family.

police action As soon as the information was received, Mahadeva outpost incharge Santosh Kumar Tripathi and other police personnel reached the spot. They took possession of the body and sent it to CHC Ramnagar with the help of an ambulance, where doctors declared Gungun dead. The police have conducted Panchnama of the dead body and sent it to the District Mortuary Hospital for postmortem.

Police started investigation Ramnagar SHO Ajay Kumar Tripathi said that a case has been registered in connection with the incident and legal action is being taken. The police have seized both the tractor-trolley and the e-rickshaw and started investigation.
