The body of a missing laborer was found hanging from a tree in a mango orchard 500 meters away from the house in Didoli village of Didoli police station area of Amroha. There was a commotion in the area after seeing the dead body. As soon as the family members got information about the incident, they reached the spot and there was chaos. Suspicious death of father before daughter’s marriage Rohtash, 48, of Didoli village, who worked as a labourer, had left home on Saturday evening saying that he was going out for a walk. When he did not return home till late night, his family started searching for him.
On Sunday morning, villagers saw the dead body hanging in the mango orchard near Puranpur Road. He is survived by his wife Malti Devi, a son and three daughters. His daughter’s marriage was fixed in February, preparations for which were going on.
Family members said- there was no enmity with anyone Didoli Kotwal Harish Vardhan Singh said that the forensic team has collected evidence from the spot. The body has been sent for postmortem. The family members have denied any enmity. The station in-charge says that further action will be taken after the postmortem report comes.
