Gulfam’s father Aftab told that at 12 noon Gulfam had gone to Shooting Range 4B Gun Shooting Academy police station area from Sofipur to learn medical shooting. While coming home from there, at around 5:30 pm, Rajat and three other unknown people from jail, Chungi police station area Medical, scared Gulfam and brought him to the vacant swimming pool in Victoria Park, police station area Civil Lines and beat him up. Slogans of Jai Shri Ram were raised from Gulfam. After this Gulfam came to his home on a motorcycle. Fainted as soon as he reached home. When Gulfam’s health worsened, the family took Gulfam along to Civil Line police station. Gulfam was admitted to PL Sharma Hospital for treatment by the Civil Line police station. From where Gulfam was referred to the medical hospital, but the family took Gulfam to Azad Hospital, Pallavapuram police station for treatment.
Kidnapped while practicing for shooting competition
Gulfam was going home after practicing from the private shooting range located in Mangalpande Nagar. Then four to five youths kidnapped him. They took them to Victoria Park, stripped them of their clothes, beat them up and stole their mobile phones. He somehow reached home after getting free from the accused. The family admitted him to Azad Hospital in Modipuram. Police say that they have received a written complaint of assault.
Preparing for December competition
Gulfam, resident of Sofipur village of Pallavapuram, is a shooter. He is practicing at the shooting range in Mangalpande for the National Shooting Competition to be held in December. Was going home on scooter from the shooting range at around 8 pm on Saturday night. Five youths riding two bikes stopped him in front of Sir Chhotu Ram Engineering College. Forcedly taken to Victoria Park while threatening to shoot. It is alleged that the five youths took off their clothes and beat them badly and also snatched their mobile phone. SP City Ayush Vikram Singh says that a complaint of assault has been received. Investigation is being done. The accused will be arrested soon.
